We have to put America back to work with a can-do attitude and an optimistic hope for even better days ahead. Our nation has been blessed with incredible, untapped possibilities, but far too often government programs and policies stifle our prospects for growth and prosperity.

The Second Congressional District has been redrawn into a very different district than its previous boundaries. The district comprises several mountain communities, and most of the Northern/Central front range of Colorado. The state’s largest universities, high-tech industries, and world-class recreational opportunities are all a part of this diverse district. From the agricultural plains to the high mountain peaks the 2nd District represents the full range of Colorado’s remarkable history and extraordinary future.

As your congressman I will represent you with the same solid principles I have championed for the past ten years as a state legislator. I will continue to work toward lower tax burdens, more reasonable regulations, local control of education, repealing Obama’s medical plan for your family, and getting rid of so many more federal policies that continue to hold our nation back.

As a small business owner, I understand the hardships of over regulation and government intrusion. As a father, I understand the importance of ensuring a safe, secure and prosperous nation for our children. As a state legislator, I understand the importance of preserving individual liberties.
